Kazune Returns

Kazune Returns

It's been an entire year, Karin thought to herself as she laid on her bed thinking about how it's been so long since she last saw Kazune and Micchi. They had moved to Yokohama to attend an all boys schooled called "Eikou Private High School". Karin let out an exasperated sigh, "he promised to visit during breaks , but I haven't seen him even once! He barely calls anymore!" Karin complained to herself.
"You okay Karin-chan?" Himeka asked meekly as she entered Karin's room. She was wearing a long violet night gown and her naturally straight black haired appeared to be unbrushed. "I thought I heard someone yelling or something" she said sleepily rubbing one of her eyes. Lucky for Karin Himeka had returned from England as soon as high school had started, so she didn't feel so alone.
Karin sat up quickly, startled by Himeka's entrance. "I'm alright I'm alright" she said rubbing the back of her head. "I was just talking to myself, sorry if I woke you up" Karin apologised twirling a lock of her olive-coloured hair, "I was thinking of something…"
"Oh what?" Himeka asked as she sat next to Karin, "you can tell me" she smiled.
Karin let out another sigh, "I really miss Kazune and Micchi and it's been a long time since we've seen Jin."
Himeka's eyes widened, "ah right, well I don't know about Jin but I received an email from Kazune-chan a week ago" she said happily. "He said that both him and Micchi are going to visit us during summer vacation. Apparently they're planning on staying here for an entire two months, isn't that great?" Himeka said, still smiling.
Karin stared blankly at Himeka, attempting to comprehend all the information given to her. Karin slowly placed both of her hands on each of Himeka's shoulders. "Himeka…" she said quietly, "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THIS A WEEK AGO?" she shouted shaking Himeka back an forth continuously.
"Wah! Karin-chan! P-please stop I'm g-getting dizzy!" Himeka pleaded. Karin released her and collapsed onto the bed. Himeka recovered from her dizziness and started speaking normally again. "I'm sorry Karin-chan, it kind of slipped my mind, you're not angry at me are you?" asked the oblivious dark haired girl.
"Angry?" Karin asked with a nervous laugh. "Of course not, I was just you know um kinda…just not expecting, and umm a bit-"
"Taken by surprise?" Himeka finished Karin's sentence who was obviously struggling to find the correct choice of words.
"Yeah yeah, that" Karin confirmed, "I'm really happy they're coming back, I wonder what Kazune looks like now, maybe he hasn't changed at all…" Karin began to get lost in her own thoughts as a faint blush graced her cheeks.
Himeka put her hand to her face as she too thought out loud "I don't know if he's changed much since it's only been a year really" suddenly her eyes lit up with discovery "ah! But his birthday has passed, so he's sixteen now" the dark haired girl said, stating the obvious.
While in her own process of thought Karin had also made quite an obvious discovery, "summer vacation starts tomorrow!" she stated smacking her fist into her palm. "So when, exactly are Kazune and Micchi arriving?"
"Ah I know I know!" Himeka beamed, "tomorrow!"
Karin gawked as she thought about how much notice Himeka had kindly given her. I only have one day to prepare myself…for Kazune she thought. "I must get started!" Karin announced as she hopped off her bed.
And so Himeka and Karin with the help of Q-chan all prepared for the expected arrival of Kazune and Micchi.
It was the first morning of the start of summer vacation, and by 10:00 AM Karin was already up and dressed. She wore her hair down with a black headband and was wearing a simple black dress with bits of white lace, the dress went down to her knees and was accented by a white ribbon tied around the waist.
Karin hadn't realized it, but she had changed quite a bit over the past year, appearance wise. Her body had began to mature more, she was a couple of centimetres taller, her curves were more defined and her chest was more developed.
"Karin-chan! Karin-chan! They're here!" Himeka called to Karin who was still staring at herself in the mirror. She tugged at her dress nervously as she attempted to adjust it and had one more quick look at her hair before rushing downstairs. Her heart pounded with both excitement and fear as she reached the last steps of the staircase.
There he was, in a white buttoned shirt and blue jeans, his blonde hair looked about the same length but he was definitely taller, and one thing for sure was he was still handsome. He was Kazune. His eyes met Karin's as soon as he entered the house. He took a few steps towards her."Hello Karin" he smiled warmly.
"Kazune-kun!" Karin shouted with delight throwing her arms around him. "I missed you so much!" she said hugging him tightly.
"I missed you to" he laughed lightly hugging her back."Karin, I wanted t-" Kazune was instantly interrupted by a loud and merry voice.
"Hanazono-saaaaaaaaaan!" Micchi called as he entered the house carrying two large suitcases that he appeared to be struggling with.
"Ah, Micchi, let Q-chan take those" Himeka suggested kindly. Just then Q-chan came and took the heavy luggage from Micchi.
"Thanks Q-chan, I thought my arms were gonna break off" Micchi said with a laugh. As soon as Karin released Kazune Micchi pounced on her, giving her a surprise bear hug. "Hanazono-saaaan! Did you miss me? Hmm? Did you? Did you? Say that you missed me the most~" Micchi teased while tightening his grip on Karin.
"Y-yeah I m-missed you Micchi...gyaaah I-I can't breath" Karin managed to say while being strangled by her oh-too-friendly guest Micchi.
"Cut it out Nishikiori!" Kazune demanded as he smacked Micchi in the head with the back of his hand.
"Oow...I was only being friendly!" Micchi complained rubbing his sore head.
"Yeah, too friendly if you ask me" Kazune growled while crossing his arms.
Micchi glanced back at Karin and looked at her from head to toe. "My my Karin, you look really nice, no wonder that hug felt different" he said with a wink.
Karin blushed, "th-thanks Micchi, but I'm not sure what you mean" she replied, completely unaware of what Micchi was referring to. Himeka cocked her head to the side, equally oblivous as Kazune glared at Micchi, he had a pretty good guess as to what Micchi was talking about.
"They're bigger" Micchi stated plainly as he pointed to Karin's chest. Karin and Kazune were speechless as their faces both turned a similar shade of red.
"Woah, you're right!" Himeka said realizing this for the first time. "You're lucky Karin-chan~"
"Haha, not really...they really aren't umm well they've always been like this I guess...we should go to the kitchen and get something to eat, right?" Karin replied, attempting to change the subject.
"So what's your cup size?" Micchi asked eagerly, completely ignored Karin's attempt to pull the attention away from herself. Kazune looked away trying to hide his face, he knew Micchi wouldn't stop pestering Karin until his curiously was satisfied. Stupid Nishikiori was what Kazune tried to focus on thinking.
"I'm not telling you that!" Karin stated bluntly her face becoming a deeper red.
"Aaaww, Hanazono-san is blushing, so cute~" Micchi commented.
Before Karin could make an attempt to run away Himeka pulled her off to the side and out of earshot of Micchi and Kazune. "Hey hey, Karin-chan...can you tell me?" Himeka whispered, her curiosity had also been perked, thanks to Micchi. "Please! I'm a girl, so it's alright."
"Fine" Karin grumbled, "c cup" she whispered very quietly.
"C cup?" Himeka shouted in surprise, she then quickly covered her mouth as she realized how loud she was. Karin narrowed her eyes at Himeka in sheer disappointment. "Sorry Karin-chan" she apologised quickly. Himeka had shouted that loud enough for even Q-chan who was in the kitchen to hear.
"Wow really nice Hanazono-san, a c cup!" Micchi praised as he walked toward the girls dragging Kazune with him. Kazune by now was not only blushing to the point where he felt light headed, but he was also growing very impatient. Just then, the worst possible thing that could happen to Kazune happened.
"Goddess! Himeka! You guys home?" Jin called from the open front door that no one had bothered to shut. He left himself in and closed it behind him. "Hey guys I got some time off and I was in the neighbourhood so..." Jin stopped midway through his sentence when he spotted Micchi and more so to his disappointment...Kazune. "Kazune Kujyou" Jin muttered with dislilke.
"Jin Kuga" Kazune replied facing Jin with an equally disapointed look.
Karin saw a way to escape the dreaded spotlight Micchi had forced on her. "Jin-kun!" she smiled walking towards him.
Jin's expression changed to a much happier one as he saw Karin approaching him. "Goddess Karin!" he said embracing her in a hug. "It's been too long, how've you been?" Kazune's blue eyes narrowed at Jin as he let go of Karin and began to talk to her in a very friendly tone.
"I've been good, Kazune and Micchi came to stay with us for the summer vacation, isn't that great?" Karin said as Micchi and Himeka came to Karin's side.
"Awesome! Jin is here to!" Micchi said cheerfully, Himeka nodded in agreement.
"Sure is" Jin said agreeing with Karin, "hey Kazune, you've gotten taller huh?" he said wrappping his arm around Kazune's neck and giving him a noogie.
"Hey hey would you stop that!" Kazune yelled shoving Jin away, Kazune quickly patted his hair down.
Jin smirked, "someone's grumpy".
"No, you're just a jack ass" Kazune mumbled quietly enough so no one else heard him. Kazune crossed his arms again and continue to mumble inaudible comments to himself.
"Hey, I've got an idea" Micchi announced, everyone but Kazune looked at him. "Hanazono-san should help me unpack".
"No no, Karin-chan has to help me make snacks for everyone", Himeka stated.
"Oh I wanna eat some of my goddess' cooking!" Jin suggested.
"Good idea I'm rather starved" Micchi agreed while rubbing his stomach.
All three of them agreed and dragged Karin off to the kitchen against her will before she could even call out to Kazune to help her. Kazune looked over his shoulder as Karin had been taken away from him again. "So that's how it's gonna be" he sighed. He walked away and eventually found his room.

And So The REAL problem begins Chapter 1 Act 1 Youko the Ring

Full Summary: When Michi's cousin needs a home then things go insane! Shii-Chan thinks she's a witch's assistant, Jin…he…he doesn't like Karin anymore because Shii-Chan made him think he was gay (!) , after that, another girl comes in, claiming she's the other Youko except her name is Machi; all because Youko was acting like Guu from Hare + Guu. So we finally understand how Michi is weird.

Me: Yays! My first Kamichama Karin !
Kazune: But don't you already made another one…you know the one ME and that other dude being kidnapped…!
Me: That was a crossover baka! Read it, Readers! It's called 'Playing Detective'!
Karin: I liked it.
Me: WOOT!
Kazune: -reads it- Ne-Tan, I hate you.
Me: I know! Michi!
Michi: DISCLAIMER: NOISETTE-TAN DON'T OWN KAMICHAMA KARIN! ONLY OWN YOUKO AND THE GIRL WHO WAS TALKING TO KAZUNE A.K.A. THE KIDNAPPER! BUT IF SHE OWNED ALL OF IT, SADLY, THER'LL BE NO TWISTS!
Me: Uh-huh okies now Youko-Chan!
Youko: Yuppies ` su! Roll the chappy~ `su~!

Act #1: Youko, the ring thief!
It was summer. The season where kids…erm excuse me, I meant: the season where EVERYONE slacks off! Isn't it great? Visiting your relatives, telling them you need a place to stay, and the real owners think about their decision. But one person answered,
"NO!" Kazune yelled at Michi's request. He was already pissed enough. Karin giving him food poisoning, him getting kidnapped by an insane author…just so she can play checkers and other various games with someone, and being saved by GIRLS! His reputation would be ruined if anyone knew that he thought bad about girls and two of them saved him!
"But Kazune-Kun!" Michi whined. His cousin, Youko needed a place to stay because in her city, well they kicked her out for a mysterious reason.
-Flashback Scene!-
"Umm…How much for this salmon sir?" Youko asked the salesperson shyly while tugging down her skirt and while she was biting her nails, being cute as she can be so she can have a VERY, very low price.
The salesperson, oh he was TRAINED! He knew about the women's methods on men sales people-actually, little girls. So he said to Youko, "50,000 yen."
'WHAT! He may know but he didn't have to raise the darn price!' Youko thought while clenching her fists. When finally she stretched her arm out to the salesman, opened her mouth wide, then suddenly half way to her wrist, it opened up, and surprisingly there was no blood gushing out! No! There were WATER BALOONS coming out and what came outta Youko's mouth were…RUBBER BANDS!
During that, the mayor of that little town came by, and automatically banned Youko from his town!
-End of Flash Back Scene!-
"For the 568th time Nishikiori, NO!" Kazune groaned.
Wow…568 times Kazune-Bouzo… don't you think you should let him have his way? I mean she DID get kicked out of her town!
"WHAT THE-!" Kazune yelled. "Holy gee's!(Who ever says that now!) It's YOU again!"
That is right now give her pity! Or I'll kidnap you again…or I can call your fan girls and they can-
Kazune knowing what they'll do agreed before SHE can finish.
Good. I will be seeing you in about 1 or two chapters from now Kujyou, Kazune...MUAHAHAHA!
"Nooo!" Kazune sobbed.
"Woot! Now I can tell You-chan that she can come and stay! Thanks, chap!" Michi happily yelled.

"I already am `su!" Youko said in a super-cute chibi voice. When Youko talks, she always ends her sentence with, "`su" like Misha from Pita-Ten. Youko was 13( Surprisingly with her looks! O.O), yet she looked like she was 5 years old. Youko had light brown hair that ended at her shoulder and some of it was tied into a little ponytail with a sky blue ribbon that had white frilly trims on it. She was also wearing a jean-colored head band also with white frills on her head too. Her eyes were lavender-purple that any guy around her age would get lost in. She was wearing a golden-yellow dress that the sleeves of the shirt was a bit wide like an inch fell from her shoulders and were tied with white sleeves that ended on her knuckles, a belt that was transparent and white, and the end of her dress was to her knees, and she also had an under shirt so older guys wouldn't think of checking her out. And she was also wearing tennis shoes. Also, Youko was 4"6 tall.
"Hiya Youko-Chan!" Michi greeted her with a bone crushing bear hug which surprisingly, Youko can stand.
"Hiyas, Nii-Chan `su!" Youko greeted hugging back, but more tightly. "You must be Kazune-Chan, the one who let me stay here!" Youko said while walking over to him and stretching her right arm out for him to shake. Kazune had to admit, she was pretty cute, not in a flirting way though, so he took out his arm and shook her hand. But she had a pretty tight grip on his hand, because when she released it, there were MARKS on it!Marks! Kazune let that one go by shaking his hand rapidly in the air resisting the pain.
"Kazune-Kun!" Karin yelled while running to his room, and when she arrived there, she was panting. A lot. "Kazune-Kun! The kitchen it's—oh hi there! What's your name?"
"Youko `su! I'm Michi-Nii-Chan's cousin `su!" She said very chibily.
"Aww! So kawaii!" Karin awed. Then Kazune yelled, "What happened to the kitchen!"
"Uh, well…" Karin began then the fire alarm was set.
"Why me!" Kazune yelled in his mind. Now in Youko's mind, Kazune's looks were completely different. He had a 5'o clock shadow, was smoking, had frog-eyes, and his clothing's were all wrinkled, oh and did I mentioned that he looked like he was finally tamed after being drunk.
Youko, Karin, and Michi, followed Kazune to the burning kitchen that Himeka, was too afraid to put out.
"No worries `su! You-Chan is here to save the day!" Youko announced while taking out a fire extinguisher and she was on it, as if that was her broom stick to ride on and set it off, only making her and the fire extinguisher soar in the air. "Wheee `su~!"
After a minute, the fire was out. Kazune sighed in relief.
"Can You-Chan have her prize now `su?" Youko asked. Sometimes Youko speaks in third person.
"But first, we have to clean up the kitchen then-" Kazune started because the kitchen was a mess, after that Youko cleaned the kitchen, "After someone makes the food…because I think Himeka is a bit traumatized…" Then Youko fixed dinner AND the table up.
"Now?" She asked very sweetly with her eyes being big as they can.
"Right after dinner." Kazune said once more hoping that she would obey.
"I WANT MY FOUR FREAKIN' PRIZES RIGHT FREAKIN' NOW YOU FLIPPIN' HOTSHOT!" Youko yelled with fire in her eyes to Kazune. Everyone except Michi backed away from her. After that, Youko broke down and started crying! Michi picked her up. "A-All I w-wanted w-was f-four p-prizes f-for m-my h-hard w-work `su!" Youko managed to say while sobbing.
Karin glared at Kazune. He sighed and gave Youko 1 apple flavored candy, 1 watermelon flavored candy, 1 cherry flavored candy, 1 strawberry flavored candy, and a ring (His and HE thinks GIRLS are dumb!) for saying, "Sorry".
"WOOT!" Youko cheered she put the ring on her left ring finger and said, "But I'll marry you when I'm older!"
"WTH! NO! I'll be marring someone else!" Kazune protested while Karin blushed.

"I'm sure you'll change your mind, but in the mean time…" Youko stated. "-Insert whatever Kazune says before he transforms because I have NO idea what it is
-groan- - `su!"

"That was so easy it was sad `su!" Youko stated. (She just did that for Kazune's punishment, although, she has her own ring.)
"WHAT! HOW!" Kazune yelled.
"You gave it to me baka `su!" Youko stated. "And you call girls negative things `su!"
"YOU TOLD HER!" Kazune questioned Michi.
"No…I bet while I was talking with her on her cell, she overheard you and Karin's argument chap!" Michi said defensively.
-Flash Back Scene No. 2!-
(NOTE! : When people are talking on the phone, the phone calls will be in bold and in italics!)
"You do?" Michi asked Youko.
"Yup `su! So can you ask him for me `su?" Youko asked.
"Sure! Anything for my little cousin!" Michi reassured her.
"YOU CHAUVINISTIC PIG! HOW DARE YOU CALL GIRLS STUPID!" Karin, who obviously yelled at Kazune for being a sexist, then she smack him with a conveniently placed phone book.
"OUCH!AND GIRLS ARE VIOLENT TOO!" Kazune added which made Karin hit him even more with the 5 inch phone book.
"Michi-Nii-Chan what was that `su?" Youko asked a little scared.
"Oh that's just Karin-Chan and Kazune-Kun having one of their arguments again You-Chan" Michi reassured her.
"Oh ` su… Michi-Nii-Chan…is Kazune-Kun really a 'chauvinistic pig' or a 'sexist' ` su? " Youko asked.
"In Karin-Chan's world, yes…so why do you need to stay here again?" Michi asked changing the subject.
"Well…" Youko began her story.
-End of Flash Back No.2!-
"That is why I stole your ring, you sexist `su." Youko explained while she crossed her arms.
"…" Was all Kazune could say. Or at least TRIED to say.
"It's your fault for being like that." Karin stated. Kazune sighed deeply.

Me: So what do ya think!
Youko: We want YOU! Yes-serie, YOU! To review this story about me!
Karin: Or else…
Youko: I will hurt you so badly that you'll end up in the hospital `su!
Kazune: You're cute, yet your deadly, WHY!
Me: Because You-Chan is a lot like me~! 3
Kazune: …Wait...You said that Youko has a ring?
Me: Oh yea! That's right!
Youko: The right guess gets a preview of the next chappy `su! HINT: Her name starts with a 'H' and is another goddess beside athena, aprodite, nyx, artemis, or any
other goddess that has been used `su. That couts for the gods too `su! Also, the winner will not be killed if he/she forgets to review each story's chapters `su. You only have a week and that'll give NattoNe-Tan to create a bunch of chapters which will cause and update explosion `su!
Michi: SO...REVIEW IT AND ADD IT TO YOUR FAVES! !
Me: Also add me to your favorite authors list!

Chapter 1

Chapter 1

" KARIN! GET UP! WE'RE GONNA BE LATE!" a familiar voice shouted just outside Karin's door. The Green eyed brunette sat up immediately
realizing what time it is and at the process felt a throbbing head ache and collapsed at the bed and couldn't move.
Kazune kept on banging on the door ' Women are so dependent!' he thought. But then he heard a small thud and felt that something was wrong.
He opened the door, and saw Karin collapsed on her bed with a flushed face breathing heavily. "KARIN!" he shouted running to her.
She heard urgent footsteps coming towards her and she decided to open her eyes " Kazune-kun, sorry, You should go or else you'll be late."
Karin whispered while coughing lightly. She sat at the side of the bed and faintly smiled at him.
But still Kazune approached her with a worried look and touched her forehead. " You're burning up! You should stay here, Himeka already left
since she has cleaning duty, I'll just stay here since Q-chan's out"
Karin blushed at the thought of her and Kazune all alone in the house. Kazune noticed that she was a bit more flushed and thought 'the fever
must be bad for her to be this red'
A thought went through Karin's head ' I just remembered, when I get sick, I'll be…' but the thought was cut short when she lost her
consciousness.
When Kazune noticed her close her eyes and began to fall once again, he caught her by the waist. At the exact same moment, Karin opened her
eyes ' that's strange, there's something missing, as if she isn't herself… Stupid! She's burning up, what would you expect! for her to…..'
But the thought was cut short when he felt soft warm lips on his, his eyes widened when he realized that Karin was kissing him!
Hey guys!
hope ya like it!
please review!
next chapter will be out soon!

Karin:(sneeze)

Kazune: (turns to Karin) Karin, Are you alright? (looks worried)

Karin: I'm fine (sneeze)

Kawaiianime101: ahhhhh! Kazune looks so cute when he's worried!

You Are So Annoying

Cuxie: New KK story! Yayness!
Kazune: I don't like this idea.
Karin: Me neither.
Cuxie:(looooooong sigh)I swear, you two have absolutely NO gumption.
Karin: What's "gumption"?
Cuxie: I don't know, but it sounded good!
Kazune: Idiots. Don't you have anything better to do?
Cuxie: You mean like starting the story? Kay!

"ARGH! Why do women have to be so LAZY?" Kazune yelled and a young brunette. No doubt going off on another tangent. Some people prefer to call it a rant, though. He paced angrily in front of Karin, making her flinch with each stomp. She sighed and leaned back sitting on the cold stone ground. It wasn't the coziest place on she could fine but she just didn't have the energy to move.
"I'm NOT lazy! You just have to push everything! I'm only human you know!"
"And here I thought you were a goddess." he said shaking his head in disgust. Blonde locks falling in his face. "You can't even complete a simple training course without collasping. Pathetic."
"I DIDN'T collaspe! I'm just taking a break! And you call this "simple"?" she jumped to her feet. "I'd like to see you do this! I'd like to see you even TRY to do HALF the stuff I do around here! While YOU laze around in the basement I'M actually WORKING! Working HARD! But I'm sure someone like YOU has no idea what hard work even IS!" She yelled in his face. He seemed to be shrinking back, but Karin wasn't done yet. "I work day and night and I NEVER complain! And the whole time all you do IS SIT AROUND AND PRETEND TO BE A MAN!"
"Pretend?" That seemed to snap Kazune back and he rose to his full height, glaring down at Karin. "PRETEND? YOU'VE GOT SOME NERVE WOMAN! I AM the man around here and you know it! So what if you cook? There's more to hard work than just standing by a stove! You NEED me! I'M the one who has to come to the rescue everytime YOU screw something up!"
Karin glared hard and gave him a straight punch in his gut. "UGH! What the Hell, Karin?" She didn't say anything but turned on her heel to go, stopping in the doorway she looked back at him with a disgusted look on her face.
"Ya, know...I bet you couldn't last one day in my shoes. Maybe then you'd learn to appreciate me." she said coldy and marched down the hallway, presumably to her own room.
Kazune clutched his stomach, muttering words not appropriate for children under the age of 13. What the Hell is her problem? I swear I will never understand women! Her words echoed in his head. "...I bet you couldn't last one day in my shoes." Is that so? We'll just have to see about that. He smirked and left after Karin. Albeit, a bit happier.

"That jerk!" Karin mumbled angrily, throwing off her training clothes. "I can't believe him! "Man" my ass! He's a boy! I swear if he even comes anywhere near me-"
Knock Knock! "Karin! It's me, open up!" Kazune's voice sounded through the closed door. This sure as Hell better be good. Karin stomped over and threw the door open. It slammed against the wall and Kazune cringed. "What the Hell do you want?" she hissed coldly.
"I, uh...I needed to...um..." he trailed off staring at her. His face was burning red and his mouth was open, but no words made their way out. At least not in complete sentences.
"What is it? Spit it out!" she screeched placing her hands on her hips. Kazune blushed a blood red and continued to stare. He started drooling and Karin was running out of patients. "Hey! Idiot!" she snapped her fingers in front of his face. "Come back to Earth!"
"Huh?" he blinked, looking a bit dazed. "Oh! I, uh, n-need to borrow your ring. I'll give it right back." he stuttered. Kazune still wasn't quite concentrating. His eyes roamed her body, but Karin didn't seem to noticed. She snatched her ring off and shoved it at him.
"There. Now get lost." she slammed the door in his faces. A groan was heard and she grinned knowing it hit him square in the face. Even still, it was about 20 seconds before she heard his footsteps leading away from her room. She sighed. What the heck is wrong with him? One minute he's screeching like a banshee, the next he forgets how to talk. Karin shrugged it off and went to stand in front of her vanity. Her eyes widened at her own reflection. Which showed a light brunette with long hair and olive accessories...scantily clad in only her bra and panties.
Ugh. Nice Karin. I finally give that boy a peice of my mind...and I'm only half dressed. Why am I such an idiot?

Wow. Kazune shook his head. Trying to clear his mind of all, er, inappropriate thoughts. Still a little bit dazed, he rubbed his forehead, wincing as he felt a resonably sized bump. Geez. She didn't hafta slam it. His mind wandered back to the girl alone in her room, probably still fuming at him. Despite how threatening she looked, he couldn't bring him self to stop staring back there. Karin's definitely grown some. he thought pervertedly, but immediately wanted to smack himself. Idiot! What the Hell is wrong with me?
The blonde sighed and sauntered down the steps to the basement. Not your average basement, but the awe had worn off him a long time ago. He sat himself an empty looking desk. Atop was his father's research notes, pretty useless now.
I guess I'd better get to work. I'll show her!

"Karin-chan!" Himeka yelled from the bathroom. She was washing the dirt off her hands from working in the garden. When she didn't receive an answer she peeked out the door and looked at Karin's door. "Karin-chan!" Still no answer. The usually cheery girl wore a somewhat worried expression as she advanced towards Karin's room.
She knocked softly. "Karin-chan?" The door open and Karin appeared looking curious. She had finished dressing and was wearing a jean mini-skirt and a soft pink tank top.
"Hai?"
"Oh, Karin-chan. Kazune-chan's calling you. I think he's in the basement."
"Oh. Him." she grunted and stepped out of the room. "Thanks Himeka-chan. I'll go see what His Majesty wants." she muttered sarcastically before stomping down the stairs towards the basement. Himeka was left to her own confused thoughts. So they're fighting again. She sighed. So what else is new?

"Kazune-kun! This had better be good!" Karin yelled as she reached the bottom of the stairs.
"Karin! Get over here!" A familiar voice called from behind one of the huge, library-size book cases. She rolled her eyes, but went over anyway. Her footsteps echoing in the large room. She peeked around the bookcase to find Kazune leaned over something at his desk.
The adolescent girl didn't look surprised in the least. She quietly walked up behind him and leaned down next to his ear. He seemed to focused on his work to notice. She whispered, "Did you need me for something, Kazune-kun?"
"AUHH!" He jumped back and toppled out of his chair. Karin clutched her stomach laughing.
"Y-You are so...STUPID!" she choked out hysterically. Kazune blushed and glared at her, his blue eyes peering out of his now scarlet face.
"It's NOT funny! Don't sneak up on me like that!" He yelled standing up and brushing himself off. He continued to glare as she winded down. She couldn't help but smirk seeing the look on his face.
"What? Did you think I was gonna bite you or something?" she wiped away a few stray tears. "Ok. Seriously...what did you want?"
He stopped glaring briefly and looked around. "Your ring." He picked their rings up off the floor, which had been dropped when he fell. "You can have it back now." He handed to her with a somewhat smug expression. Karin coveniently didn't notice and slipped it on. Kazune smiled and put his on as well.
"Thanks." She said quietly. He looked at her skeptically. "What?"
"Do you feel any different?"
"Uh...no. Why?" she asked confused.
"N-No reason...I just..." He glanced back at Karin who looked a bit dizy. "Karin?" She stumbled forwards and he grabbed her by the waist. "Karin!" He tried to steady her.
"K-Kazune-kun...my head hurts." She moaned. He held tight, but his head was suddenly pounding as well. His vision started to swim as he tried desparetly to stay balanced, but it was no use. They both collasped on the floor.

Cuxie: Ooooh! Mystery!
Karin: What happened?
Kazune: Why'd we both pass out?
Cuxie: You'll find out next chappy! Plz R&R! Tell me whatcha think of it so far!

Kamichama Karin Chu

"Oooohhh! Where is he?" Karin Hanazono fumed as she stomped around the front hall.
It had been nearly two days since one of her closest friends, Kazune Kujyou, had gone missing during the school day. That had been two days full of panic and worry; two days of little rest and as much searching as was humanly possible. But all of her efforts were to no avail. Kazune continued to be missing. Nothing she did was able to change that.
"Calm down, Karin-chan," Himeka Kujyou said softly as she walked up to Karin. She held a plate of cookies and a glass of milk in her hands. She held them out to Karin with a tight-lipped smile. "I'm sure… that Kazune-kun is… just fine… Really. He'll be back later tonight."
Karin frowned deeply. Himeka had been the one holding up a strong front for the past few days. She had continued smiling, and she kept on saying that Kazune would be "fine". She almost acted as though the blonde wasn't even missing at some points. It irritated Karin that she would pretend that things weren't so bad, but it became clear to her when she heard Himeka crying, alone in her room. Pretending that he wasn't missing, that he had just gone off on his own on some trip that neither of them knew about, and that he would be home in "only a few hours, at the most", was her own way of dealing with the stress.
But even self-delusion had its limits. And it was becoming painfully obvious as the seconds ticked by that Himeka was reaching those limits. She had reached them by the end of the day last night, and though the sun had barely begun to set, she was already starting to fall apart all over again.
Kazune-kun… Karin thought, smiling at Himeka. She took a cookie from the plate and began nibbling on it. She eyes slowly made their way from her purple-haired friend and back to the door. Where are you, Kazune-kun…?

Magenta Rain

Chapter One, Lost and Found

"Anyways, it's getting late," Himeka continued. She set the plate and glass down on a side table in the hall. "…I think… I'll head off to bed now…"
Without another word, and before Karin could say good night, Himeka ran off. She left her alone. She didn't really want to go at her friend, who was just about ready to fall apart. It didn't matter how strong she was trying to appear, she was racked with worry. It wouldn't do any good to make her cry.
"Himeka-chan…" Karin said softly, watching where the preteen had been standing. She sighed heavily. I don't know what to do. We've looked everywhere for Kazune! Even Micchi is helping us look… and Shi-chan's out there right now, looking… No one can find him… Why? Where is he?
Numbly, she took a bigger bite of her cookie. She was tired. Kazune hadn't even been missing for two days and she was already starting to feel drained because of it. She was so used to having him around. She realized that she took it for granted. With Kazune around, she always felt safe. If she was challenged by Kirio and that mysterious Goddess, Kazune was almost always there to back her up. Even though he would be drained by the transformation, he had always been there for her.
And now, he probably needed her, but there was nothing that she could do for him. She could do nothing for the person that was always doing so much for her.
Frustrated, she punched the wall.
"Damnit…" she breathed. "Where are you… Jerk."
Someone knocked on the door suddenly. It was three short, sharp raps. But it was enough. Karin perked up, dropped her cookie, and ran for the door. Unfortunately, her foot caught on the rug and she tripped. She went face first into the door.
"Oww," she whined. She pushed away from the door and rubbed her nose.
The pain when away when there was another knock at the door.
"Kazune-ku-" she exclaimed as she threw the door open. Her eager anticipation was quickly cut off when she was greeted by the sight of Michiru's usual wolfish grin.
"Good evening, Hanazono-san!" he greeted her, giving her a little wave in the process.
"Micchi…" she stammered, her eyes wide in disbelief. It was just Michiru. Not Kazune. Not the one that she had been waiting for…
Karin bowed her head in defeat. Two days was too short a time to give up the search for him, but she was already starting to feel too hopeless to keep looking. Did everyone who had someone close to them that went missing go through this? Or were they all stronger? Was she just giving up because she was weak?
"Micchi…" she repeated, looking up at him. She knew that it was silly, but she couldn't help but be a little hopeful. "Kazune-kun… Did you… Did you come here because you found Kazune-kun?"
The corners of his mouth fell into a small frown, and he shook his head slowly.
"No, I can't say that I've found him, exactly," he told her. He rummaged through his pant pockets until he found what he was looking for: a slip of crumpled up paper. "But when I was looking for him, this woman walked up to me and handed me this."
He held the paper out to her. With a heavy sigh, Karin took it from him.
"She told me not to read it, but" he gave a slightly nervous laugh "curiosity got me… She said to give it to you… When I read it, I knew I had to come here right away."
"Karin, I have your… prince?" Karin read the note out loud. She stared at it after the first line. Prince? Does it mean Kazune-kun? she silently wondered before she continued. "If you want him back, you must come to get him. Alone."
So far she was sure that the letter was making sense. At least, if she was understanding it right, then it was made sense. Someone had kidnapped Kazune, and now they were ready to give him back. It seemed a little too simple, so she read it over a few more times. Each time she came to the same conclusion. What confused her was that they weren't asking for anything in return. No ransom. They weren't asking her to do anything in exchange for giving Kazune back. It was just "if you want him back, you must come to get him", followed by the address, and directions on how to get there. The only condition was that she had to go there alone.
That, she was certain that she could do.
"Maybe it was Mr. Glasses Man and… and Kirika-senpai…" she murmured. She still had trouble thinking of the upper classman as her enemy. But he was, and this was the situation. She had no one else to think of. They probably took his ring… and now that they're done, they're giving him back…
Or just coming after me.
Her hand clenched around the note. Hot tears burned her eyes. If they hurt you, Kazune-kun… even… if it is Kirika-senpai… I'll never forgive them!
"Well, Hanazono-san? What say we get a move on?" Michiru chirped. Karin was suddenly reminded of the older teen's presence, and she stared blankly at him. He just smiled at her. "C'mon, we've got to go save Kazune-kun, don't we?"
"Oh… Y-Yeah, but…" she stammered. "You said that you read the note, right? They said-"
"I'll stand outside then," he cut her half-hearted protests off. "It's dangerous to go it alone. If I'm at least outside, waiting for you, then isn't that better?"
Karin continued to stare at him. Yeah. I would feel better if Micchi's there with me. Kazune-kun always said not to fight alone… Maybe I should let him come with me. But it'll be dangerous for him. If it's them… I don't know what'll happen. What if he gets hurt?
She heard a soft sigh pass through his lips.
"I promise to stay away from danger," he said. "I just want to help get Kazune-kun back safely. That woman… she seemed rather strange. Beautiful, but strange."
Woman?
Karin was confused.
"What woman?" she asked him.
Michiru perked up a little, smiling famously. "Oh! It was some woman that I've never seen before that gave me the note!"
Her eye twitched. He seemed rather happy that it had been a woman, a beautiful woman, that had given him the note. Under any other circumstances, she would not have concerned herself on the subject… much, but Kazune was in trouble, and he was thinking about a woman. There was too much at stake for them not to be focused. Still, if it was a woman, than the odds that it was Kirio and Kirika that had kidnapped Kazune greatly lessened. At the very least, she knew that she would not be fighting any Gods on her own.
At least that was what she was hoping.
"Micchi… maybe you should stay here," she sighed. "I'll be careful. I promise."
He shook his head. "I want to go, Hanazono-san."
After some begging and pleading, and getting lost too many times to count because of bad directions and a lack of light that kept her from reading street signs properly. Karin found herself standing before a huge, abandoned warehouse. Michiru was with her, seemingly oblivious to the perilous circumstances under which they had come. She wished that she could have thought more of him, but in all honesty, she had never seen more than that out of him.
"Micchi, promise me that you'll stay here," Karin pleaded as she spun around to face her friend. He had already promised countless times to stay out of the warehouse, and away from danger-and that if danger came to him, he would run-but she had to make sure. Whoever it was that had taken Kazune had to be strong. She could not believe that he had been taken against his will by anyone, unless they were at least twice as powerful as he was. And even then, he would have gone down fighting.
Michiru nodded wordlessly. He didn't even put up a fight. A part of her was a little disappointed. He should have argued with her, at least to be gentlemanly. But the current situation was too serious to be taken so lightly. There was no time for little games like that. This was not the time. Even Karin could understand that.
Karin turned and made her way for the front door. At least that was what she had decided to call it. She had no idea if warehouses actually had front doors. There were doors on every side, so which one really was the front? The one that faced the road? Probably. That was the side that everyone saw, so naturally that was what it would be called.
Again, her eye twitched. What am I thinking? she silently yelled at herself. Get a grip, Karin! Kazune-kun's in trouble and you're thinking about which is the front door! Gah! You idiot!
The door moaned loudly when she pulled it open, as if giving fair warning to whoever it was that was inside that she had finally arrived and was coming in. The sound echoed throughout the dark hallway that it opened to. Karin stood in the doorway for a moment, trying to make her decision. She knew that she had to keep going in, but at the same time, it was so dark. She had no idea who, or what, was waiting for her in there. What if they were waiting in the shadows, and when she walked in, she was suddenly ambushed? She would be of no use to Kazune then. She would have failed him then.
"Karin-chan, please be careful." Himeka's words echoed in her mind. There had been tears in her eyes when she said that. "Please, bring Kazune-chan back home to me."
Karin glanced back at Michiru. True to his word, he hadn't moved closer to the warehouse, though he looked like he wanted to. He was not a coward. If she called for help, and he heard her, then he would come to her aid. She knew that. But that was the last thing that she wanted. No one else needed to be in danger here.
Go in, and get Kazune-kun out, she reminded herself. Himeka's waiting for you to bring him back.
She turned back to the dark hallway, sucked in a deep breath, and took her first step forward and into the warehouse. The door slammed heavily behind her. The resounding bang that resulted from it made her jump a little.
Calm down, Karin! she encouraged herself.
After a few moments her heart stopped trying to jump up her throat, and she felt ready to continue. She did, keeping her gaze and hands directly in front of her. She could not see anything in this darkness. It was too dark, and there were no windows to provide light. Not that that would be of any help: it was night, the sun had set, and there really was not any light outside to depend on.
Finally her hands hit something solid. A cold, metal door stood before her. Or a metal wall. Either way. she was just surprised to find that she hadn't walked into anything. Well, she did walk in to a wall, just as she had been expecting, but this one she had been prepared for. She had honestly expected to walk in to some piping or a bucket or something that was randomly laying around. It was as if someone had cleared the way for her.
Maybe they had.
Her hands searched the hard, cold surface before her until she found the doorknob.
She turned it.
A blast of cold air welcomed her into the room. She peeked her head around the door and gazed about the room. It was enormous. Bigger than any room she had ever been in before. It was even bigger than any room at Kazune's and Himeka's home.
"H-He... Hello?" Karin called tentatively.
The was no reply.
But a strange mass of darkness crumpled on the floor caught her attention. Beams of moonlight put it on the spotlight in the center of the room. Had that been intentional?
"Kazune-kun!" Karin cried, recognizing his pale blond hair. She ran over to him. "Kazune-kun, omigosh! Are you okay?"
Karin dropped down to her knees at his side. Kazune had not responded to her in any way. She reached for him, then hesitated. Was he hurt? She could faintly remember it in class, that if someone was hurt, that it was best not to move them. He looked like he was in good condition, except for the fact that he was unconscious. Was that a good sign? But being unconscious was a bad thing, right? So he really wasn't in a good condition. And if that was the case, then she shouldn't touch him… right?
"You can have him now," a woman's voice jarred Karin from her thoughts. "I'm done with him."
Karin looked up. Across the room stood a woman with long, purple-tinted hair. She was dressed in strange robes, arms crossed, as she smirked at her. She could barely make anything else out about the woman, but she knew it. The woman was beautiful.
"The kid'll sleep well for a few days. I don't know if he'll wake up before then, but he'll be okay once he wakes up," the woman told her.
"Keh. He really was worth my time," she purred.
Karin remained perfectly still next to Kazune. He still had not shown any signs of life. Was he alive? She couldn't tell at the moment, but she was willing to take the woman's word for it. If she was willing to give him back, then it probably was not worth the trouble. Besides, she had no idea who or what the woman was. It was different from Kirio and the mysterious Goddess. They were just like her. Her ring tingled unpleasantly in the presence of the woman. It was nothing like her normal enemies. She had no idea what to make of it.
If Kazune was able to help her, then it would have been different. He might have known and understood what she was, and how to defeat her.
But if that was truly the case, then wouldn't this moment have been avoidable?
The woman stalked over to them. She knelt down before Karin, next to Kazune's unmoving form.
"D-Don't…" Karin choked out in a whisper. She wanted to yell 'don't touch him!' at the woman, but the words just wouldn't come out. The feeling had grown worse the closer the woman came to them. Fear paralyzed her. She couldn't move, or speak.
The woman just smirked, her eyes flickering over Karin's face. "You're cute. I can see why you were the key."
"Eh? Key?"
"But, you're not my type," the woman sighed. "So get lost. Take him with you. He's useless right now."
"What… are you… saying…?" Karin questioned.
"Mmmnnnn…" Kazune groaned. His entire body shifted position as he slowly began to wake. He rolled to one side, and his eyes fluttered open.
"Kazune-kun…" Karin had no idea what to say. They situation was strange.
The woman smiled down at him. "I'll miss you. You were my favorite toy."
Kazune's eyes went big and round at the sight of the woman. Her voice only seemed to make it worse. He opened his mouth, and at first nothing came out. But then suddenly a shrill cry came from him, a long, wordless howl that Karin didn't know humans could make. He tried to move, scrambled to get his body up and run, but he just could not get the right coordination for it. He stumbled and tripped over himself, eventually landing on Karin's lap. He cowered there, holding his hands over his ears and muttering things under his breath.
Kazune-kun…? Karin wondered. What had happened to freak him out so much?
"Hanazono-san!" Michiru's voice was barely audible past Kazune's howling. "Kazune-kun! What's wrong!"
Karin glanced back. Michiru was running towards them at full speed.
"Micchi…" she said softly. Tears filled her eyes.
Not even two days, and this had happened to Kazune. Whatever it was. The woman had done something awful to him. And it was her fault. It had to be. If only she had looked harder, and not worried about how late it got or how tired she became, then maybe they could have found him here. Maybe if he wore his ring on his finger, then she could have found him easier… Or maybe if she would have just paid more attention, and been smarter, then she could have learned more. She could have searched out his ring without him putting it on.
Karin glanced back at the woman, and gasped.
The woman was gone.
